Product description
This is an 11″ retracted replacement trash chute hydraulic closer for primarily your garbage or laundry chute door. The thick silver aluminum tube part of the cylinder measures 11 inches long, and with the rod, it is a total of 12 inches long. The diameter of the tube is 1″ thick. The thin rod measures 5/16″ in thickness, and is in the retracted position by default. There is a #18 cross hole on the end of the rod.
This closer is compatible with some Valiant Chutes Products, Cutler Chutes, and other manufacturers.

APPLICATIONS: Trash, Garbage, Rubbish, Laundry, Linen, and Recycle UL rated intake doors.
If you are replacing the current trash chute door closer, then look at your existing hydraulic, and make sure that it has the pin fittings and brackets on each end.
Installation Test: Make sure that the door latches and that the coil springs absorbs and dampens the spring smoothly to prevent injury.
