Laundry Chute Hopper Discharge Door 24″ x 30″ – Wilkinson Style
This is a 24″x30″ complete hopper discharge door system that is a Wilkinson Style Type “H” and consists of a stainless steel top hinged door hand operated assembly that bears an Underwriters Laboratories Class “B” UL-B, 1-1/2 hour fire rating. 250 degree temperature rise chute door label.
Made to fit a 24” diameter round chute. (Other sizes available. Just contact us)
The door includes two night or slam latch handles on each side.
The unit comes equipped with a fusible link that is NFPA code construction compliant. UL Listed and Fire Rated at 165 degrees (Fahrenheit) temperature which allows the door to swing or drop and slam closed in case of a fire. The door automatically closes when the fusible link melts or is fused by excessive heat.
Hopper discharge outlet doors are primarily used for linen or laundry chute systems and sometimes for trash or rubbish chute systems.
U.S. #16 gauge aluminized steel all welded hopper assembly.
U.S. #13 gauge heavy duty steel impact plate hopper bottom for long life durability.
This hopper discharge door system is supported by 1 leg for easy installation. It is also adjustable.
Equipped with a 2” IPS ( I.P.S. ) pipe for the drain line.
