This is a Thumb Latch Trigger kit part and is predominantly used for Side Hinged Laundry Chute Doors but also used for Trash Chute Doors.

It is commonly used in Wilkinson Chutes Hi-Rise laundry chute doors but also used by Architectural Refuse Systems, Chute Doctor (DR), Chute Source, Midland, WHR Holdings, Western Chutes, and many other manufacturers.

FITS THE FOLLOWING HINGED / SIZED DOORS: Side Hinged (SH) Intake Linen Stainless Steel Doors, For both Right and Left Hinged doors.

This thumb latch trigger handle kit includes all the hardware parts like the spindle, barrel plunger latch tube that is in a copper color, and all the parts noted above. The tube latch assembly is 1-3/4″ but it is often called a 1-23/32″ backset tubular latch.

The HANDLE material is made of cast zinc and known for its High strength & Hardness. Zinc alloys are some of the strongest and toughest materials. Neither gray cast iron or Aluminum withstands impacts, as well as Zinc alloys, do. Our SPINDLE material is Stainless Steel.

These handles are mainly compatible with laundry chute doors and trash chute doors, as long as they are side hinged doors.
